On the occasion of his 14th work anniversary, actor Shahid Kapoor (right) thanked his followers on social media for believing in him. Replying to the several wishes that found their way to his Twitter handle, the actor wrote, “Thanks peeps for the many wishes. 14 years of doing what I love. Beauty of cinema, you always feel like a student. Too much to learn. Too much to achieve. Too little time. Time to put my blinders on and run like there’s no tomorrow. Gratitude and love.”

After being a backup dancer in films, Shahid took his first step in Bollywood with Ishq Vishq (2003) alongside Amrita Rao. In the initial years, he was perceived as a chocolate boy, but later with films such as Kaminey (2009) Udta Punjab (2016), Haider (2014) and Rangoon (2017), he shed the boy-nextdoor-image and played different roles. On the film front, Shahid is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film which also stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
