Dahiya (above) and Vivek Dahiya got married last year in July, and the couple is in no hurry to rush into parenthood at the moment. Divyanka says that they are too occupied with their work commitments and aren’t thinking of having a baby. “Motherhood is a special feeling and I would love to experience it. But not right now. I don’t want to rush into things, and would only go for it when I am ready,” says Divyanka, adding that Vivek is quite supportive of her decision.

Asked about her plans to do Bollywood films, she replies: “If a good role comes my way, I would love to take it up, but I’m not dying to do films. Television has given me so much that I can’t thank the medium enough. In fact, a lot of film actors have come up to me and said how they enjoy watching me on TV and their family members are fond of my shows. This means I am on the right track.”

Divyanka, who is currently juggling a fiction and reality dance show, says that she is in a happy space both professionally and personally. “I must have done something good that I have got Vivek in my life. On work front also, I am quite satisfied,” says the actor, who is known for shows such as Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Mrs & Mr Sharma Allahabadwale and others.
