The crew thought I was possessed: Kriti

Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - Front Page - Monika Rawal Kukreja ■

Actor Kriti Sanon (right), who has worked in two films so far — Heropanti (2014) and Dilwale (2015) — seems to have prepared a bit too hard for her role in her next film, Raabta. In the film, Kriti will be seen portraying two different characters — she plays the role of a modern girl and the other character shows her in the distant past, with sinister-looking kohl-eyes.

According to a source, before shooting for the intense dramatic scenes, the 26-yearold actor would scream loudly in order to get into the skin of the character. Asked if such a thing actually helped her, she says, “It releases a lot of energy and makes me get into the zone, both physically and mentally. It was funny because Dinoo (director Dinesh Vijan) told me later that the crew thought I was possessed.”

She adds, “I think of what the character must be feeling before a scene and in that moment.” Kriti would be sharing screen space with actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Jim Sarbh.
