This book launch was a witty affair

Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - City - Etti Bali

Quirk, creativity and some inherently-Delhi wit ran amok at this book launch in the Capital on Friday evening. The event began with candid conversations with author Anuja Chauhan, followed by her reading an excerpt from her latest book. She also expressed her love for the city. “I love the Delhi I grew up in... the ’80s were a great place,” she says.

About Bollywood’s fascination with literature, Chauhan added in her trademark toungue-in-cheek style that a movie adapted into a book expands its reach to a wider audience, and also gives it “street cred”. Many from the literary, media and academic circles were present at the do, including singer Shibani Kashyap, authors Meenakshi Reddy Madhavan and Vinod Bhardwaj.
