It might not be known to many that singer Meiyang Chang (left) is also a professional dentist. He says that his father had inspired him to learn music and pursue his dreams of becoming a singer.

“It was my father’s dream to learn music, and when he realised that I wanted to get into this industry, he gave me space to do what I wanted,” said Chang.

The singer is hosting a new series that features 13 ordinary individuals, who followed their inner calling and turned their passion into profession. “The show leaves you with immense sense of satisfaction. It intends to change the mindset of people.” The singer, who also left dentistry to follow his dream, said, “It was a parallel dream. Apart from dentistry, I wanted to sing but with time, I realised that I cannot pursue dentistry further and should devote time to music solely. However, it would have been great if I would have been doing both together.”
