Actor Lena Headey (right) says she lost out on many good roles in Hollywood as she didn’t give in to flirting with the casting directors.

The 43-year-old English actor says she faced such embarrassing situations when she was in her teens. “When I was in my 20s, and doing a lot of audition tapes in the States, a casting director told me: ‘The men take these tapes home and watch them and say, ‘Who would you f***?’ I’ve never played the game of going in (to auditions) and flirting,” says Headey.

The actor, who is happy working in Hollywood in her 40s, says, “I’m happier now I’m older, playing women who aren’t expected to be beautiful. That pressure has gone for me.”
