Shraddha doesn’t want to work non-stop

Actor Shraddha Kapoor is just back from a vacation in Italy, and says she now knows how important taking a break is. “You know, now I realise how important it is to not work as if you are on an autopilot mode,” says the 30-year-old, adding, “Going on a vacation and observing people is great as it will only help you in your craft. It was my mum, who told me, ‘why don’t you take a pause? Don’t go so fast in your career.’”

In fact, Shraddha extended her trip by a few days and stayed alone in Florence. “I impulsively decided to extend my trip. I was alone as well as anonymous. It was so nice to be just an anonymous person,” she says. Asked if she ever fears that breaks may set her back in the race at work, she says, “I like disconnecting from time-to-time. I never ever considered myself to be a part of the rat race. I feel that at the end of the day, if I make my own mistakes and also take credits and blames for them, I will know that it was all my decision.”
