THE TROUBLE BEGAN IN THE SUMMER OF 2016 WHEN JOLIE WAS WORKING ON HER NEW FILM, FIRST THEY KILLED MY FATHER
Hollywood actor Angelina
Jolie (right) has opened up about how her family is coping in the wake of her divorce from actor Brad Pitt, (far right). In her most candid interview since the break-up, she admits that it has been a rough time and that her family are “just kind of coming up for air”. The trouble began in summer 2016, when she was working on her new film, First They Killed My Father. “Things got bad. I didn’t want to use that word,” she said.
Jolie became “slightly defensive” at the mention of the family’s globe-trotting lifestyle, which reportedly had been grating on Pitt. “That was not the problem. That will remain one of the wonderful opportunities we are able to give our children,” she said. Jolie also talked about the effect of the split on her. “I can’t make a casserole. I cannot sit still,” she said.
