Actor Sharman Joshi (left) believes in balancing his films and theatre work. The actor, who was last seen in Wajah Tum Ho (2016), is now busy giving final touches to his award-winning play, The Play That Goes Wrong — a murder mystery.

Thankful for how things have panned out, Sharman says, “Life has been good and god has been kind. I am currently caught up with last few prep works for my play and it’s taking up most of my time. Being a producer and someone who is representing the Indian market for this kind of a production, it is not easy. So, I want to make sure that everything falls in place.”

Sharman had collaborated with an UK based firm to bring the play to India. And it has already won awards such as Olivier Award (2015) and WhatsOnStage Awards for comedy (2015) among others. Asked when he plans to get back to films, Sharman says that once the play is staged, which will be at the end of the year, only then he will start shooting for his upcoming projects.
