Trust Shah Rukh Khan to reach out to his fans in the most unexpected ways. This time around, the actor, along with co-star Anushka Sharma and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, landed up in Varanasi to connect with fans, promoting their upcoming film, Jab Harry Met Sejal. Shah Rukh and Anushka’s presence in the holy city brought everything to a standstill, as a sea of people turned up to catch a glimpse of the stars.

In his superstar style, SRK clicked a selfie with the crowd, and then went on to relish all things Banarasi.

The trio stopped at a 70-year-old paan shop and savoured chilled meetha paan. They also visited a college and danced to the songs of the film. Actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, who was hosting the trio, was at the college and made SRK sing the popular Bhojpuri song, Lollypop Lagelu, dedicated to Anushka.

SRK plays the role of a tour guide in the film, releasing on August 4, while Anushka is seen as a Gujarati girl who meets him on a solo trip in Europe. Jab Harry Met Sejal has already created a strong buzz, and its songs are a rage among youngsters.
