MOONG DAAL, BESAN & OATS PAKODA
INGREDIENTS: 1 cup oats, 1 cup gram flour ( besan ) , 1 cup moong daal aata, chopped onion, chopped ginger, chopped green chilli, chopped coriander leaves, chopped curry leaves, chopped garlic, pinch of heeng, pinch of salt.
DIRECTIONS: Soak oats for half an hour in lukewarm water, add gram flour, moong daal flour and rest of the ingredients, make a consistent paste, you can add one spoon of olive oil in the batter and stir till it forms into a thick batter.
Take multi grain bread, soak it in the batter and deep fry it in olive oil till pakodas turn brown, you can also add spinach, mushroom, paneer or brinjal into the batter to make them healthier and do away with bread. Sprinkle chaat masala over them and Serve pakodas hot with green mint and tamarind chutney.
