Rajinikanth and Dhanush are more than stars: Anjali Patil says

- Shreya Mukherjee

Actor Anjali Patil (right) feels lucky to have been able to collaborate with Tamil superstar Rajinikanth and his son-in-law Dhanush for two films. She feels that both the actors are compassionate and sincere. While Anjali is currently shooting for Kaala with the senior actor, she has finished Anand L Rai’s Nimmo, which stars Dhanush.

“He ( Rajinikanth) is a supportive co- star who never fails to praise his co- stars, when they perform well. Also, he is someone who makes sure that they feel comfortable working with him,” says Anjali, who will make her debut in Tamil cinema with in Pa. Ranjith’s Kaala.

Sharing the experience of shooting with Rajnikanth, the Finding Fanny (2014) actor adds, “In my head, I was like I must get everything right when shooting with him. But I forgot my lines when I had to shoot with him for the first time. So he came up to me, smiled and explained that we all forget lines. That really helped.” She feels that Dhanush is quite similar to Rajinikanth. “Dhanush also has this sincerity and love for the art (acting). Both of them are more than just stars,” she adds.
