Actor Ssharad Malhotra (right), best known for his TV show Banoo Main Teri Dulhan, enjoys a huge fan following. While he enjoy this celebrity status, he admits that sometimes fans tend to go overboard.

“Fans want to know everything about their favourite celebrities. I receive messages from fans, who ask all sorts of questions, like when do I get up, what time do I go to bed, with whom do I hang-out with etc. Some even message at odd hours. So, at times, it gets bizarre,” says Ssharad.

The actor says that fans already know a lot about him, but they are more eager to know intimate stuff. “The situation today is such that if say I’m dating a person, people already make a guess and in turn ask for what’s next. The moment I say, I am getting married, it’ll be big news for them.”

The actor says that his personal life isn’t personal anymore. “My life has become public. I’m completely okay with it because fans naturally have the desire to know the ‘real’ person behind the characters on screen,” adds Ssharad, who had revealed in an earlier interview about how he has received a white towel from a fan that had ‘We Love You Ssharad’ written on it in red. “I never got to know whether it was blood or red ink,” he confessed.
