I had to prac­tise say­ing cuss words in front of the mir­ror: Rid­hima

TV ac­tor Rid­hima Pan­dit surely knows how to make the most of what­ever she does on the small screen. Whether it was be­ing a part of a sit­com, where she played a hu­man ro­bot or com­edy show The Drama Com­pany or her re­cent web se­ries that has been mak­ing quite a noise, the ac­tor is en­joy­ing it all.

Talk­ing about her web se­ries, Rid­hima re­calls how the script had a lot of cuss words. “I re­mem­ber when I first read it, I was quite taken aback. Later, I had to ac­tu­ally prac­tise it (pro­nounc­ing cuss words the right way), say­ing them in front of the mir­ror and at times, just be­fore giv­ing the take, I would use those words on my own a cou­ple of times,” laughs Rid­hima.

The ac­tor adds that it took her some time but even­tu­ally, she got the hang of it. “In fact, I started to en­joy my­self. I have im­pro­vised on the lan­guage here and there but I re­alised that abus­ing, at times, is great fun and I to­tally en­joyed my­self.”
