Sonal’s aim: Rehoming abandoned animals

Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - Entertainment - Rishabh Suri

Actor Sonal Chauhan, who is known for films such as Jannat (2008) and Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap (2011), has decided to lend her celebrity status and popularity to the cause of finding homes for animals.

Sonal is an avid animal lover, and when not before the camera working or travelling, she prefers to chill with her precious pooches, and often ends up adding more pets to her family.

Now, the actor has taken it upon herself to be a vigilante for our four-legged, furry counterparts. She is going to launch an app for their adoption, which will work towards rehoming abandoned animals.

Talking about turning into a crusader for animals with this initiative, Sonal says, “In the constantly changing weather, it becomes tough for animals to survive. Stray animals are susceptible to diseases, cruelty and under nourishment. I am hoping that this app remedies the situation that our friends with paws are in.”

On the professional front, the actor will be seen next in the multi-starrer Paltan with Sonu Sood and Gurmeet Choudhary.
