Once we are out from our house, all dressed up, we might not have the time or the chance to do even a quick touch-up. But not to worry, there are makeup hacks that help you look gorgeous all day long, without having to retouch it again and again. Don’t forget to use a primer. Many of us feel that primer is not important and often neglect it. But, let us tell you that it is the primer that helps your makeup stay longer. So make sure you apply it under and over your eyes if you are planning to wear eyeshadow and all over your face, so that the foundation can stick well. To make your makeup stay longer, you need to minimise your pores. So before you apply makeup, rub ice cubes all over your face. This will tighten your pores. Makeup works best on taut skin. To prevent the kajal or eyeliner on the lower lid from smudging, apply loose powder on the top of your foundation, especially under your eyes. If there is any spill, all you need to do is dust it off. Here’s a trick to avoid your mascara from splashing. All you have to do is to hold a business card just below your lashes while you apply mascara. This will help you do a clean job. Nail paints take quite a while to dry, and when you are in a hurry, it seems to take hours. A perfect solution to this is to apply polish and then dip your nail in ice water. The polish dries instantly!
