Groups clash in Srinagar, curfew imposed
SRINAGAR: Curfew was imposed in Srinagar following a clash between two groups in old city area on Wednesday. A police spokesman said the civil administration was monitoring the situation after two groups belonging to two different communities in Zadibal — a volatile area having a considerable Shia population — clashed with each other. "Nobody has been injured. However, there were sporadic incidents of stone pelting," the spokesman said.
