Shar­man Joshi is on a high

Ac­tor Shar­man Joshi (right), known for his roles in films such as 3 Id­iots (2009) and Rang De Bas­anti (2006), launched his award-win­ning ac­tion-com­edy play in Gu­jarati, Natak Na Natak Nu Natak. The play re­ceived a splen­did re­sponse and Shar­man, who is ec­static about it says, “We want to el­e­vate the level of con­tent in plays. I’m glad that my play has been loved by so many peo­ple and is still be­ing ap­pre­ci­ated.” How­ever, more than the au­di­ence’s re­ac­tion, the 38-year-old ac­tor is elated be­cause his fa­ther, Arvind Joshi, who is also an ac­tor, has praised his work in it. “My fa­ther is a vet­eran in the arena of the­atre and I was happy to hear him speak highly of it.” With such pos­i­tive re­sponses, more shows of the play have been sched­uled in the com­ing months. Shar­man was last seen in the Hindi film Wa­jah Tum Ho (2016).
