While celebrities love to eat out and are usually seen in the most happening dine-out places, Rithvik Dhanjani opts for a balance and even, at times, dons the chef ’s cap. Admitting pasta to be his weakness, Rithvik says, “I can never turn away from a bowl of pasta, especially one with red sauce.” The actor was talking about the dish, which is the showstopper on Day 3 of HT City’s Culinary Fest, Season III. “Whatever I’ve learnt about cooking is because of my sister. I am not an avid cook but whenever I get sometime and I am in the mood to enter the kitchen, I do,” says actor Rithvik, who made pasta with red sauce for the HT City Culinary Fest. Talking about his tryst with cooking, he says, “A couple of months ago, I saw my sister making pasta with red sauce and decided to help her. Then, I ended up learning it.” Rithvik reveals that other than Italian, he gorges on Mughlai dishes. “I love Mughlai food. Besides that, one of my all-time favourite dish is butter chicken. Once I had even tried to make it, but the butter and the chicken were separate! It was a disaster (laughs). Any dish with chicken in it, I would relish it. My sister even makes Adraki Chicken that I love,” says the Pavitra Rishta actor.
