Web star Mithila Palkar isn’t interested in doing shows on the small screen. Internet is both an accessible and a liberal space to work and that’s why I enjoy exploring the web more. There is no limitation of content, time on the Internet and it also allows you do what you want. I feel, I have found my niche on the Internet,” says Mithila, who is busy with her second Bollywood film, Karwaan that stars Irrfan Khan and Dulquer Salmaan — the son of Malayalam film star Mammootty. Along with web shows, Mithila is interested in doing films and theatre. She says, “After my first film, (Mithila played actor Imran Khan’s sister Katti Batti (2015)) I was on the lookout for interesting offers till I was offered this film. I am happy with the kind of appreciation my debut Marathi film Muramba received.” And as far as theatre is concerned, the actor is already doing two plays, Tunni Ki Kahani and Aaj Rang hai, says, “I want to do more plays but my web shows are taking away a lot of time.
