Two more complaints against Kevin Spacey
Sexual harassment scandals are no longer a dirty secret in Hollywood, and many victims have slowly started to come out in public, naming and shaming their perpetrators. After Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp revealed that actor Kevin Spacey had made a sexual advance towards him when Rapp was 14, two more men have come out and accused Spacey of sexual harassment. Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos is one of them. “There are many of us who have a ‘Kevin Spacey story’.” It seems that so long as there was under 30 around, that was all it took to get Mr Spacey’s interest,” he wrote on Facebook. “Spacey invited people to meet him to ‘talk about their careers’. When they came to the theatre, the Lord had prepared a picnic with champagne on the stage, beautifully lit... He would meet at the bar of his theatre, squeezing the one who’d attract attention. That’s how he touched me the second time.” English barman Daniel Beal has also accused Spacey of flashing his genitals in front of him, in London in 2010, at the bar in London’s Old Vic Theatre, where Spacey was artistic director. “Before I had a chance to do anything he got his d*** out. I said ‘What the f*** are you doing?’ He said ‘It’s big, isn’t it?’ He leaned over and tried to pull my hand towards it. I went back inside,” he told British tabloid Mirror. According to Beal, the 58-yearold actor gave him his $5,000 watch afterwards. Following the revelation, several male actors, such as Alex Winter and Wilson Cruz have revealed that they, too, have been victims of powerful men in the industry.
Bellamar alleged that one encounter took place on the Entourage set and the other at the Playboy Mansion. ”Hey @ jeremypiven! ‘Member when you cornered me in your trailer on the #Entourage set? ‘Member grabbing my boobies on the (couch emoticon) without asking?? (sic)” she wrote on Twitter. CBS, the American TV network that aired the show, is investigating the allegation.
