Two unidentified men threatened the employees of a restaurant in Malviya Nagar on Friday evening in an attempt to loot the money kept in the cash box, police said.

The incident was caught in CCTV cameras of the restaurant and the police are using the footage to identify the miscreants, said Dinesh Kumar, a sub-inspector with the Jawahar Circle police station, on Saturday.

According to the police, the incident took place around 7pm on Friday when two bike-borne men entered the restaurant reportedly in an inebriated state. “One of the men walked up to the counter and told my brother that he wanted a burger or the money kept inside the cash box,” said Suresh Sharma, the restaurant owner. The accused allegedly tried to fire the revolver. HTC
