Bid to kid­nap min­is­ter Naqvi’s sis­ter in Bareilly

Farhat naqvi, the younger sis­ter of min­is­ter of state for par­lia­men­tary af­fairs Mukhtar Ab­bas Navi has al­leged that a group of men tried to kid­nap her near Chauki Chau­raha area here in broad day­light on Satur­day.

She was re­turn­ing home af­ter visit­ing the of­fice of se­nior su­per­in­ten­dent of po­lice lo­cated less than a kilo­me­tre from the spot when the in­ci­dent oc­curred.

“I was stand­ing on the side of the road when the men stopped their car near me and tried to pull me in­side it,” Farhat in­formed the po­lice. “A group of women who were with came for­ward to help and I was saved some­how,” she added.

Naqvi has sub­mit­ted a po­lice com­plaint re­gard­ing the in­ci­dent. “I could not iden­tify the peo­ple who were in the car or the car reg­is­tra­tion num­ber,” she told po­lice. She was also not sure of the num­ber of peo­ple. HTC
