F ew weekend spots are as popular in Vashi as the mini sea shore. And considering how hot it is outside, there is little wonder why this is so.

Situated in sector 10A, it has a 2- kilometre jogging track, making it favourite for morning joggers. The mini sea shore is also an ideal destination for an evening out on weekends for everyone — families, youngsters and senior citizens.

The stretch sports a yoga club/meditation centre and also laughter club for early risers. Those who want to enjoy the evening with spicy and tangy snacks will be regaled by the posse of vendors selling chaat, bhutta (corn) and gola.

The nearby mini sea shore garden is an unfailing hit among children. The garden has a toy train that runs on a 200-metre track around the garden, which is a major draw. Children can also go on a horse-ride there if they wish.

Deepali Goyal, a Vashi resident, who often visits with her family, said, “We plan a weekend getaway to mini sea shore to unwind. I get a peaceful evening there and the kids have activities to engage them.”
