SEAWOODS: With construction work in progress at Seawoods station, commuters have to take detours to reach platform. But this isn’t the only problem they are facing — pollution and garbage piling up around unattended debris is adding to their woes.

Cidco is constructing a commercial complex in the area, which is causing most of the problems. In addition to this, commuters entering the station from the west also have to deal with defunct lights on the access road to the station.

“We are forced to take longer routes to reach station and sometimes even get late for our work,”

Authorities should provide some temporary

solution for monsoon.

With monsoon just around the corner, many commuters fear that the condition will get worse. “There is lot of unattended debris around the construction sites. Authorities should provide some temporary solution for monsoon, otherwise the situation will be hard to handle,” said Milind Rane, a daily commuter.

The defunct lights has many commuters worried about their safety.
