500 sqm Ar­eas where highly in­flammable, or ex­plo­sive ma­te­ri­als are used will not have any elec­tri­cal fit­tings, if re­quired, it will be of stan­dard flame­proof type.

Ef­fec­tive mea­sures shall be adopted for preven­tion of static charges to a dan­ger­ous ex­tent.

If flammable ma­te­rial is re­quired to be used in large quan­ti­ties, it shall be stored in a sep­a­rate store and only the min­i­mum re­quired quan­tity (max­i­mum up to 20 litres) will be stored in the work­place.
