MUMBAI: The Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) charge sheet in the Sheena Bora murder case reveals details of her murder, allegedly planned by her mother Indrani Mukerjea, including how she was drugged in the back seat of a car and briefly regained consciousness to bite driver Shyamwar Rai’s thumb while she was being strangled.

According to the CBI’s charge sheet, Indrani roped in Rai and her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna for the murder. As a safety measure, she decided to avoid talking to her alleged accomplices on the phone and got Kajal Sharma, her personal assistant, to teach Rai how to use Skype. Sharma created a Skype account for Rai and taught him to use it.

The charge sheet claims that once Rai was able to use Skype without Sharma’s help, Indrani took him into confidence and revealed her plan to kill both Sheena and her brother Mikhail. Next, she told Sharma and Rai that she would be in Mumbai on April 24, 2012.
