BCCI was op­ti­mistic of a pos­i­tive re­sponse from the govt as both the sides had agreed on Sri Lanka as a venue, se­nior BCCI func­tionary Ra­jeev Shukla had said in Delhi. “In­dia and Pak­istan se­ries will hap­pen ten­ta­tively from De­cem­ber 15 in Sri Lanka...,” the IPL chair­man had said.
