Suggestions pour in for proposed Turbhe garden
NAVI MUMBAI: Ideas and suggestions have poured in for the proposed botanical garden in Turbhe. The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation ( NMMC) garden department, which acquired the land from Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, has received around 10 suggestions from experts.
The officials had asked for suggestions online through a notice. The last date for the same is December 11.
“We have received 10 proposals from experts. After the details are approved by seniors, we will invite tenders,” said an official.
The botanical garden, spread across around 3.8 acres, was conceptualised in 2014. However, the project was on hold since survey of the plots was going on.
