Hindustan Times ST (Mumbai) - HT Navi Mumbai Live - - NAVI MUMBAI -

The NCP leaders would not get their 5% commission and hence they have betrayed the people of Navi Mumbai. We will reach out to every household in the city and expose them. We support the municipal commissioner and will ensure that the state government approves it. VIJAY NAHATA, Shiv Sena leader

If someone comes to your house and offers you money to spruce it up sans any liability, why would you reject it? This proves the level of corruption that the ruling party has stooped to. The Sena-BJP government in the state will use its power to ensure that the city remains in the smart city race. KISHORE PATKAR, Sena corporator

Smart city is every citizen’s right. All the NCP did was calculate 5% commission that would accrue from Rs8,000-crore project. Once they realised that won’t happen, they rejected it. The one-time planning proposed by them is a joke. Everyone knows that they have not been able to accomplish the pilot project at sector 15 of CBD. MK MADHVI, corporator, Shiv Sena
