Earlier this month on December 2, the squad raided an illegal liquor joint that was functioning next to a beer shop in Sector 20 of Airoli. The police arrested seven people, including the owners and the customers who did not have the permit to drink.
Earlier this week, the squad raided an illegal liquor den in Ishwarnagar area of Digha and arrested 25 persons who were drinking and 3 who were selling it.
Police have recovered 220 bottles of liquor from the spot.
