Am­rita Vidyalayam cel­e­brates its an­nual day with dance fest

Am­rita Vidyalayam, Juina­gar ( W), man­aged by M at a A m r i t a n a n d a m ay i Math, cel­e­brated its an­nual day on Tues­day and pre­sented a unique op­por­tu­nity to wit­ness ‘ Fes­ti­val Dance Forms of In­dia’.

The cer­e­mo­nial lamp was lighted by the chief guest, mayor Sud­hakar Son­awane, Dr Sriku­mar Ban­er­jee, Homi Bhabha Chair Pro­fes­sor at BARC.

The an­nual re­port pre­sented by Rekha N, prin­ci­pal, talked about the school’s suc­cess­ful year which saw com­mend­able board exam re­sults of con­sis­tently achiev­ing 100% pass for the last four years. Speak­ing on the oc­ca­sion, Son­awane lauded the Math’s con­tri­bu­tion in the field of value-based ed­u­ca­tion and its con­tri­bu­tion to the peo­ple liv­ing in Navi Mum­bai.

Ban­er­jee in­spired the par­ents to fol­low the path set by Stu­dents dur­ing a cul­tural pro­gramme as part of the An­nual day cel­e­bra­tions of Am­rita Vidyalayam, Juina­gar(W).

Amma in the field of pro­vidi ng value based ed­u­ca­tion and t raining t he chil­dren for the de­vel­op­ment of each child’s cre­ativ­ity, in­tel­li­gence and char­ac­ter. Avyayam­rita Chai­tanyaji spoke about the foun­da­tion laid by the school which will en­able self ful­fill­ment of the stu­dent’s pro­fes­sional, fam­ily and so­cial life.
