1,085 Mhada houses in city will be up for sale in May
MUMBAI: In what comes as good news for homebuyers, the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (Mhada) plans to put out approximately 5,000 houses for sale in 2016, of which 1,085 are in Mumbai. While 3,500 houses are in Virar, the rest are in Mira Road and Thane.
The houses in the city are for all three income groups – lower, middle and higher – and will be built at Pratiksha Nagar, Sion; Rawalpada, Dahisar; Unnat Nagar in Goregaon and Chembur. The lottery will be held in May and the forms will be sold online from April.
