Three booked for killing man af­ter a tiff

A 32-year-old man was al­legedly killed by three per­sons of a fam­ily in the dis­trict over a petty scuf­fle, po­lice said on Thurs­day. As­sis­tant po­lice in­spec­tor of Padgha po­lice sta­tion JM Bhosle said the in­ci­dent occurred on Wed­nes­day over a scuf­fle be­tween two par­ties at Boriv­ili vil­lage in Padgha taluka. A tiff broke out when vic­tim Yasim Nasikkar’s sis­ter had a heated ar­gu­ment with the three men on a lane. She later told her brother about the tiff who con­fronted the three men. The three started bash­ing him up, the of­fi­cer said, adding, as re­sult of se­vere in­juries, Yasim died on the spot.
