Cidco to hold well­ness fest for youth on Fri­day

Cidco un­der the Smart City ini­tia­tive will or­gan­ise Navi Mum­bai’s first ever ‘Well­ness & Spir­i­tual Youth Fest’ on Jan­uary 15. The event, in as­so­ci­a­tion with Heart­ful­ness In­sti­tute and lo­cal col­leges of Navi Mum­bai will be held at the Cidco ex­hi­bi­tion cen­tre, Vashi from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.

“It’s a re­quest to the youths to par­tic­i­pate in large num­bers to ex­pe­ri­ence and learn the unique tools of med­i­ta­tion and spirituality,” said San­jay Bha­tia, vice-chair­man and man­ag­ing di­rec­tor, at a press con­fer­ence held on Mon­day at Cidco Bha­van, CBD Belapur.

The Youth Fest is an ini­tia­tive to in­spire and en­cour­age the youth to­wards pow­er­ful and pos­i­tive liv­ing in their day to day life. Its main pur­pose is to in­spire youths to­wards adopt­ing med­i­ta­tion and spir­i­tual prac­tice as a reg­u­lar and nec­es­sary prac­tice to help them in calm­ing their minds and to con­nect to their ‘in­ner real self ’ in a stress-free and mu­si­cal en­vi­ron­ment.

“With in­creas­ing com­pe­ti­tion in the so­ci­ety, to­day’s youth have come un­der tremen­dous stress. Youths to­day also do not per­form phys­i­cal ac­tiv­ity. They go into de­pres­sion, de­jec­tion, sad­ness at the small­est emo­tional in­ci­dents,”

NO EN­TRY FEE said Bha­tia.

He said, “It’s an ap­peal to Navi Mum­bai col­lege stu­dents to par­tic­i­pate in large num­bers and learn unique tech­niques of med­i­ta­tions and re­lax­ation.”
