A pathol­ogy lab in Kalam­boli was shut af­ter it came to light that it had sub­mit­ted bo­gus bills in the name of a pa­tient for var­i­ous tests that were con­ducted. When the in­sur­ance com­pany checked with the per­son in whose name the bill had been raised, he de­nied hav­ing done any test.

In Kharghar, a lab was be­ing run on the name of a doc­tor based in Nanded. The doc­tor him­self had no clue about it. The lab was shut af­ter the mat­ter came to light.
