Virat Kohli’s Pak fan arrested for hoisting tricolour

LAHORE/NEW DELHI: A Pakistani fan of cricketer Virat Kohli was arrested for hoisting the Indian flag on the roof of his home on Tuesday and charged with committing an offence against the state. Umar Daraz said he hoisted the flag to pay homage to Kohli. He acknowledged he had “committed a blunder”. Daraz was arrested from his house in Okara district, 200km from Lahore. He was presented in court and remanded to police custody.
