The 88 me­ter Morbe dam owned by NMMC has a stor­age ca­pac­ity of 190 mil­lion cu­bic me­tres (mcm) of wa­ter. How­ever, the wa­ter level on Wed­nes­day was just 72.79 me­tre with stor­age of 68.327 mcm.

NMMC sup­plied 421 MLD wa­ter in their ju­ris­dic­tion last year. How­ever, with in­suf­fi­cient wa­ter in their dam this year they are sup­ply­ing just 300 MLD now.

They sup­ply wa­ter to over 1,16,727 con­sumers through net­work of over 750 km long dis­tri­bu­tion sys­tems with 113 ser­vice reser­voirs.

NMMC takes 2 MLD and 55 MLD wa­ter from Cidco and MIDC re­spec­tively.

Cidco gets wa­ter (120 MLD) from Hetawane and Bhokarpada dams to dis­trib­ute in their ju­ris­dic­tion, but both the dams be­long to Maharashtra Jee­van Prad­hikaran. MIDC takes wa­ter from dif­fer­ent sources from across the state.
