In an effort to expedite infrastructural development works City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) demolished seven illegal constructions at Funde village in Donagiri on Wednesday.
“Due to this encroachment, the infrastructural development works was held up in that area. As against seven notices issued to encroachers, all structures consisting of pucca construction with patra shed, chawls, commercial shops, car parking shed, buffalo gotha, were demolished. The structures were constructed on Cidco land without having any land title and development permission. Accordingly, the municipal corporation on due process of law removed them,” said Mohan Ninawe, senior public relations officer of Cidco.
