Rahul says stop making excuses, start governing
Congress vicepresident Rahul Gandhi said on Friday the job of a Prime Minister was to run the country without making excuses, launching a stinging attack on Narendra Modi hours after the latter slammed the opposition party for repeatedly disrupting Parliament.
“All that the Prime Minister has been doing for the last 18 months is to make excuses as to why the economy is not running, why farmers are not getting their dues, why labourers are not getting what they should get,” Gandhi told reporters in New Delhi, after a meeting with the party’s state chiefs.
“The job of a prime minister is to run the country without making excuses.”
