‘MSEB did not solve power woes’
Sanjay Chavan, 48, Nerul resident, had voltage fluctuation problem in his house. This damaged most of the electronic appliances such as television, refrigerator and computer. When he complained to the Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB), it blamed the society’s electrical set-up. The power company’s reply letter did not have an official stamp. CGSI volunteers advised him to file an RTI application to check if his complaint was lodged at the right place and verify its status. He was asked to submit an application to their society office about the electrical set-up.
