COLLEGIANS GET EXPERT TIPS ON CORPORATE WORLD, JOBS
A personality enhancement programme, Campus to corporate and beyond, was held earlier this week at Marathi Sahitya auditorium in Vashi.
The objective was to expose college students to the needs of the corporate world in the private sector and the government sector. Over 700 students from 11 colleges of Navi Mumbai participated in the seminar.
Shishir Gorle, CEO Innov, said, “The education system needs an urgent revamp to facilitate human resource for the private sector.”
Kishore Patil, executive engineer PWD, gave tips on clearing the civic services examination. He explained the reservation policy for the benefit of the students from the weaker section.
A commemorative booklet which had insights of the eminent speakers and a certificate for all participants was released on the occasion.
Seema Gupta, managing director Arya Hospital Management Solutions, spoke about the growing opportunities in the health sector. She added that healthcare is emerging as the biggest employer in the country.
