Khalapur MoU signed; CM lauds ‘smart’ move
CBD BELAPUR: “Congratulations to the residents of 11 villages in Khalapur, Kalote Mokashi and Nadode gram panchayats who will now benefit from the development of Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA),” said Devendra Fadnavis, the chief minister of Maharahstra at the Make In India Week on Wednesday.
The CM congratulated the villagers for accepting City and Industrial Development Corporation’s ( Cidco) innovative model of development.
At the Make In India Week on Wednesday, Khalapur villagers signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) with Cidco for developing a smart city on the lines of NAINA scheme.
Fadnavis said, “A pioneering programme has been organised for this revolutionary moment. With the acceptance of this innovative model, the sons of soil will be largely benefited in the coming 25-50 years.”
