Cidco has decided to installed CCTV cameras at various places in their jurisdiction. These cameras will be monitored from a temporary command centre at Belapur railway station.

As a part of on-going anti-terrorism week, the Navi Mumbai police had organised an exhibition of arms and ammunitions near Vashi railway station on Thursday. The programme was inaugurated by chief vigilance officer of Cidco, Pradnya Sarwade. The exhibition was followed by a demonstration of quick response team (QRT) of the city police. deputy commissioner of police (special branch) Suresh Mengade and senior police inspectors of all police stations were present at the event.
Later, the police took out a rally from Vashi to Kopar Khairane. Over 1,000 policemen participated in the rally.
On Wednesday, the police had roped in students and activists to spread the message of anti-terrorism.
