Stu­dents of ITM Kharghar dis­trib­ute re­cy­cled note­books

The Eco Club of I TM Kharghar cel­e­brated In­ter­na­tional Women’s Day in a eco-friendly way. The stu­dents of Eco Club car­ried out a news­pa­per col­lec­tion drive with the ob­jec­tive of re­cy­cling the pa­per in as­so­ci­a­tion with I Dream About Foun­da­tion and con­vert­ing them into note­books. ITM Kharghar stu­dents and fac­ul­ties dis­trib­uted the note­books and other sta­tionery amongst the young girls of Seal Ashram. This cel­e­bra­tion took place at ITM Kharghar’s au­di­to­rium on Tues­day.

Eco Club of ITM Kharghar is a stu­dents’ so­ci­ety work­ing to­wards the aware­ness, sen­si­ti­sa­tion and the preser­va­tion of en­vi­ron­ment and en­vi­ron­men­tal is­sues. The in­sti­tute con­ducted this drive with the ob­jec­tive of spread­ing the im­por­tance of girl child education and mo­ti­vat­ing them to seek education.

The dis­tri­bu­tion process was fol­lowed by per­for­mances by the young girls from Seal Ashram. The young girls show­cased their tal­ent and proved to be stars of the event. Dr C.S. Adhikari, Dean, Dr. Sarit Prava Das, As­so­ciate Dean of ITM Busi­ness School Kharghar along with all fac­ul­ties, pre­sented the gifts to the young girls from Seal Ashram.

Dr. Adhikari said, “Happy Women’s Day! You de­serve to be happy to­day so en­joy your day to the fullest.” He ac­knowl­edged the hard work put in by the stu­dents of ITM Kharghar and I Dream About Foun­da­tion.
