AIROLI: VIBGYOR High School, Airoli, organized a two-day ‘Jungle Carnival’ on March 11 and 12. The replica of animal kingdom provided an opportunity for children and visitors to experience and explore wildlife through theme-based activities. The event was open to all and witnessed a footfall of over 2500 people including children from local schools. Children came dressed as animals for a fancy dress competition. Vanita Gambhir, principal of VIBGYOR High School, Airoli, said, “At VIBGYOR High, we encourage experiential learning as a part of the Integrated Curriculum followed in our schools, connecting our students with the real world. Jungle Carnival is one such attempt to provide extensive knowledge and create awareness about the existing forests and wildlife in our country.”
