CROCIN, D-COLD SET TO GO OFF SHELVES TOO
NEW DELHI: Common flu medicines such as Crocin Cold & Flu and children’s drugs such as TedyKoff and T-98 will be off drugstore shelves following a ban on 350 combination drugs being sold without government approval.
The ban will also impact more than 2,700 medicine brands, including flu medicine D-Cold Total, nasal drops Nasivion, cough syrup Chericof and analgesic Nimulid. The health ministry banned the sale and manufacture of a range of anti-diabetic drugs, respiratory drugs, analgesics and anti-infective and gastro-intestinal drugs on Saturday.
