YOUTH STABBED TO DEATH BY FRIENDS IN THANE

A 23- year- old man was mur­dered by his three friends in Mum­bra on Wed­nes­day af­ter a tiff. Shahid Sadik Hus­sain Sayyed was stabbed with a knife.

One has been ar­rested and the other two are ab­scond­ing. The in­ci­dent took place on Wed­nes­day in morn­ing hours at Bom­bay Colony in Mum­bra.

A po­lice of­fi­cer from Mum­bra po­lice sta­tion said, “The youth were drunk and killed their friend.”

The ar­rested ac­cused has been iden­ti­fied as Imran alias Imu Nasir Khan, 22, while the other two ac­cused are Arif and Firoz.

All four were drink­ing when they raked up an old is­sue. The three cor nered Sayyed and started beat­ing him up. One of them took out a knife and stabbed Sayyed on his shoul­der.

When he started bleed­ing pro­fusely, he was taken to a nearby hos­pi­tal where the doc­tor pro­nounced him dead. A po­lice of­fi­cer from Mum­bra po­lice sta­tion said, “The three are his­tory-sheeters. Imran has been booked un­der sec­tion 302 (pun­ish­ment for mur­der) of 34 of the In­dian Pe­nal Code. The friends had past ri­valry.”
