Buy, sell or rent books at techies’ start-up

A group of en­gi­neers from Terna Engi­neer­ing col­lege at Nerul, who passed out last year, have started an e-com­merce start-up, Carmine.in.

Ac­cord­ing to Sonika Valunj, who is BE- IT Engi­neer­ing and a di­rec­tor of Carmine.in, “The unique­ness of our web­site are our fea­tures ‘Buy­ing, Sell­ing, Rent­ing’. The cus­tomers can buy a new prod­uct or sell his or her old prod­uct and also rent any prod­uct at low­est pos­si­ble cost.”

Prod­uct means engi­neer­ing books, English nov­els and Marathi lit­er­a­ture books.

Valunj said, “There is a spe­cific se­cu­rity amount which is re­fund­able af­ter the prod­uct is re­turned.
