The project is estimated to cost Rs 14,573 cr. The airport will span an area of 2,867 acres with a terminal building of 5,23,000 square meters and two runways.
The Navi Mumbai International Airport, poised to commence commercial operations in the year 2019, is designed to serve 10 million passengers per annum in its first phase and 60 million passengers per annum after completion. Apart from serving Mumbai Metropolitan Region as a part of the first ever multi airport system in the country, this airport would act as a powerful engine for the overall growth of our country.
